Card Folio

Here is a great project for you to try.
First go to http://www.mirkwooddesigns.com/ and download the card folio templete.
Then make the folio and matching cards. Here is one of my creations.
I spent this day with a dear friend Barbara. We had such a nice time chatting and making these card folio's. They would make a great gift regardless of the time of year.
Enjoy!

Happy Stamping

Here in Maryland it is 60*, clear, cool and beautiful fall colors are emerging with the changing of the leaves. It is been a nice day with the entire family home. Even though my sweet husband is working from home, he did take the time to replace the slidder part of my keyboard tray. It had come apart last week and he bought a new one, drilled new holes and put the entire thing back together. Blogging is fun, I hope that I can get a little better about how to save the pictures and organzie my thoughts. It is my goal to successfully sell some of my stamping creations for profit. This week will be an exciting one. Monday we will carve pumpkins and eat Cuban sandwiches, it has become our tradition the last few years and I enjoy the time to spend with our family and extended family as well. Have a great weekend! Happy Fall everyone! Loretta R.

The Kid -- The attitude

I do not think for a moment that my oldest son had this much 'tude' as a up and coming teen. I get the eye rolling, the not listening and now, drawing in class and not turning in homework. Grounded for 2 weeks over a 'failure to turn in home work' and 'missing and incomplete' assignments, the youngest (who will be 13 in two short weeks). was drawing in class. Umm... now I am making him write 'I will not draw in class', 100 times. Then he will write a letter of apology to his Language Arts teacher for his behavior. I know that he is testing my patience and my limits and I must stand strong and firm. However, if any one has any suggestions let me know! He is a sweet young man and I only want the best for him, both now and in the future. All the best! Loretta
